David Montelone gana la beca Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award 2012

El fotógrafo David Montelone gana la beca Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award 2012, beca que otorga 50 mil euros para la producción de un trabajo fotográfico, además de cubrir los costos de producción de un libro y una exposición en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de París que será inaugurada en noviembre.
El fotógrafo perteneciente a la agencia de fotografía VII desde el 2011, utilizó la beca para desarrollar un ensayo en Chechenia durante cuatro meses, tema que le interesó por ser una comunidad autónoma de la Federación Rusa.
En esta la cuarta edición de la beca que busca apoyar al fotoperiodismo, la noticia se había mantenido en secreto por cuestiones de seguridad para el proceso de producción del fotógrafo, haciéndolo oficial el 2 de julio en el marco del Festival de Arles de Francia.
