La Bienal de Fotografía ha respondido a los cambios que han acontecido en el medio, en particular a la renovación de los discursos iconográficos que se han desprendido de la puesta en crisis de las nociones que habían sostenido la práctica fotográfica durante la mayor parte del siglo XX. Esta publicación reúne los premios de adquisición, las menciones honoríficas y los trabajos seleccionados. Incluye también fotografías en blanco y negro y color, texto de José Luis Barrios, acta de jurado, textos descriptivos de la obra seleccionada y síntesis curricular de cada uno de los autores.
